SES Astra Inks Deal For Hellas Sat Satellite Capacity
SES Astra and Greek satellite operator Hellas Sat signed a framework agreement that gives SES Astra access to capacity on the Hellas-Sat 2 spacecraft at 39 degrees East, SES Astra announced.
“This agreement gives SES Astra further scope and flexibility in our offerings to customers in the broadcasting and professional services business,” SES Astra President and CEO Ferdinand Kayser said in a statement. “We will round up our portfolio in Europe while at the same time add … new capacity for the Middle East.”
Specific terms of the deal, including the amount of capacity SES Astra is leasing and the price, were not disclosed.
