Iridium Satellite LLC named Tallahassee Technologies Inc. as a value-added manufacturer and Global Marine Networks and Global Technology Ltd. as value-added developers, Iridium announced Sept. 26.

Iridium value-added manufacturers provide packaged voice and data solutions for specific vertical markets using Iridium L-band transceivers integrated with the manufacturers’ own hardware and software. Value-added developers offer technical expertise to develop new products or solutions using the Iridium network.

Tallahassee Technologies provides computer and communication systems focused on military and homeland security applications. Global Marine Networks provides a portfolio of wireless communications services for the marine industry. Global Technology specializes in satellite e-mail for the maritime industry.
