Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) appointed Ali Asghar vice president of corporate development. Asghar joins MSV from America Online where he led the company’s alternative broadband development. Previously, Asghar was with Morgan Stanley, McKinsey & Company and E.M. Warburg Pincus in their technology venture capital group.

As vice president of corporate development, Asghar will be responsible for developing partner relationships within the United States and also exploring international partnerships.
