XM Satellite Radio said Aug. 23 its satellite radio receivers will make their debut in Suzuki automobiles in a pair of 2006 models. The Grand Vitara and the XL-7 sport utility vehicle will be shipped to dealers in an XM-ready state, giving buyers the option to have XM equipment installed for $399 plus the cost of installation. The package comes with a three-month subscription to XM’s service.
