XM Satellite Radio announced Aug. 15 its Latin music hits channel, Alegria, will focus on reggaeton, a Latin hip-hop music genre that recently has been growing in popularity.

XM also announced that new programs will be added to Alegria to compliment the shift in focus, including an exclusive audio version of IMF: The International Music Feed’s reggaeton program “IMF Bodega Beats,” hosted by B-Real of the hip hop band Cypress Hill.
