Globecomm Systems Inc. will provide teleport services for Internet and Voice over Internet protocol traffic for the Afghanistan Ministry of Communications, Globecomm announced July 22.

Under the one-year contract, Globecomm Network Services Corp. will provide the services via a partnering teleport in Hong Kong. The value of the deal was not released.
