BBC Leases Additional Capacity From SES Astra

SES Astra announced July 11 that the BBC leased a transponder aboard the Astra 2A satellite, located at 28.2 degrees East. SES Astra said the BBC would use the additional capacity to reconfigure the satellite delivery of its portfolio of television, radio and interactive services. BBC leases six transponders aboard Astra 2B and Astra 2D.
