Globecast announced June 21 that it would deliver MTV Networks‘ European channels to cable and satellite television providers across Europe via a dedicated transponder aboard the Hot Bird 6 satellite.

Globecast’s solution for MTV Networks will include connectivity from the broadcaster’s U.K. facility in Camden to Globecast’s London gateway, as well as uplink and space capacity on Hot Bird 6 for downlink at control rooms throughout Europe.

Hot Bird 6 is located at 13 degrees East.
