Glowlink Communications Technology Inc. announced June 21 that GCI, a provider of local cellular and long distance telephone, cable television, Internet and data services in Alaska, awarded Glowlink a contract for a spectrum monitoring systems based on the Glowlink Model 1000.

“Choosing Glowlink as our monitoring system will enable us to proactively respond to developing transponder issues before they affect our customers,” GCI RF Systems Engineer Terry Nunn said in a statement.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.
