Swe-Dish Satellite Systems added new functionality to its IPT Suitcase navigation solution offering, which the company claims will make the product as easy to use as a mobile phone.

The technology, dubbed Autopoint, simplifies operations and ensures precise antenna pointing with one-button-operation. The technology does not require additional satellite bandwidth to operate or a reference satellite.

The Swe-Dish IPT Suitcase satellite system can allow live broadband transmissions at speeds up to 4 megabits per second and is targeted at broadcasters, military units, government agencies and rescue organizations.
