Xantic introduced a new integrated services digital network channel for existing Fleet 77 terminals that doubles the speed of current data services, the company announced.

The channel, which can provide service at 128 kilobits per second, can be added to existing terminals with a software upgrade, Xantic said.

The company plans to make the new channel available in the Pacific Ocean region by mid-June.
