Panamsat Holdings Corp. said it is extending the expiration date for the exchange offer relating to all of its outstanding 10-3/8 percent senior discount notes. Panamsat is looking to exchange $416 million in aggregate principal amount at maturity of the notes due 2014, issued on Oct. 19, 2004 for a like principal amount of new notes. The original offer was set to expire May 17. It will now expire May 24, unless Panamsat further extends the deadline.
