TransCore unveiled new trailer tracking sensors, including what it describes as a first-of-its-kind infrared cargo sensor and a temperature sensor, for use on TransCore’s GlobalWave satellite communications products. TransCore said its infrared cargo sensor will be priced affordably for fleets, with prices at less than $100 per unit for bulk purchases, but it did not specify how many sensors needed to be purchased to qualify for that price.
