At its annual general meeting held in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, shareholders of SES Global S.A. elected a new 18-member board of directors, cutting the number of members from the previous 21, the company said.

The members of the new SES Global board of directors for the next three years are: Charles Alexander, Marcus Bicknell, John Connelly, Hadelin De Liedekerke Beaufort, Jacques Espinasse, Jean-Claude Finck, Denis Nayden, Gaston Reinesch, Victor Rod, Luis Sanchez-Merlo, Christian Schaack, Georges Schmit, Terry Seddon, Marc Speeckaert, René Steichen, Gerd Tenzer, Francois Tesch and Jean-Paul Zens.

The board of directors appointed Steichen chairman.
