Andrew To Move Satellite Dish Manufacturing Operations To Mexico

The Associated Press reported May 6 that Andrew Corp. is moving its satellite-TV dish manufacturing operations from Smithfield, NC to Mexico. Andrew took over the plant when it acquired certain assets and intellectual property from Channel Master in late 2003. The plant currently employs about 300 people, the wire service reported.
