Mobile Satellite TV Service Launched In South Korea

Asia Pulse reported May 3 that TU Media Corp. formally launched its mobile satellite TV service, which allows subscribers to receive television broadcasts on mobile phones and other handheld devices. TU Media, a business unit of mobile phone operator SK Telecom, plans to offer seven video and 20 audio channels in the near term and expand to 40 total channels in the future, according to the article.
