SES Astra said and it inked a deal with RaceWorld TV to allow for the free-to-air (FTA) digital distribution of RaceWorld TV via the Astra 1H satellite, located at 19.2 degrees East. RaceWorld TV delivers motor sports coverage from around the world 24 hours a day. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“I am very excited about the start of RaceWorld TV on Astra, allowing race fans all over Europe to tune in to their favorite sport,” RaceWorld TV founder Bert Devies said in a prepared statement. “The huge direct-to-home household reach of Astra in Europe was key to our decision to enter into an agreement with SES Astra.”
