Arrowhead Global Solutions said that former SES Americom President and CEO Dean Olmstead will succeed Mary Ann Elliot as the company’s president. Elliot will continue on as Arrowhead chairman.

“The quality and depth of Dean Olmstead’s knowledge and experience, along with the scope of his understanding and vision in the technical areas where Arrowhead is engaged, makes him an excellent person to lead our company,” Elliot said in a prepared statement. “It is now up to Dean and the rest of the Arrowhead team to build upon the success we have had in the converging fields of telecommunications and information technology.”
