The Russian Satellite Communications Co. (RSCC) and China SatCom have taken part in a new session of the Russian-Chinese Working Group on satellite communications. The two state-owned operators discussed co-operation in terms of the mutual provision of satellite communications and broadcasting services across Russia, the People’s Republic of China and other regions under regulations of the local governments. Through the talks, RSCC and China SatCom came to an agreement about joint use of satellite capacity and earth station facilities. The two companies will also look to combine their marketing activities in order to develop their services and enter new markets.

The sessions of satellite communications operators have been held routinely in the context of the official Russian-Chinese Commission on preparation of regular meetings of the heads of governments of Russia and China.
