SES Americom said it has united with Comcast Media Center, a business unit of Comcast Cable that operates a high definition television (HDTV) content production and network origination facility, to launch a what it called a comprehensive package of HDTV production, origination and transmission services designed to foster the development of HD content for the U.S. HDTV market. Financial terms of the agreement between the two companies were not disclosed.
