GlobeCast said it launched a new distribution platform on the Intelsat Americas-13 (IA-13) satellite for digital cable networks. TVE Internacional America, a division of Spain’s TVE Internacional is the first programmer broadcasting on GlobeCast’s new platform. GlobeCast said it receives TVE Internacional America’s feed from Spain and transports it via GlobeCast’s global fiber network to its teleport in Los Angeles, where it provides turnaround to IA-13 for distribution across North America.
