XM Satellite Radio and the PGA Tour announced a long-term broadcasting and marketing agreement, under which XM gains exclusive rights to broadcast PGA Tour events. Beginning this summer, the PGA Tour Network will air live tournament coverage each week, plus other tour-related daily programming. Additionally, fans attending events will be able to buy or rent a portable XM2go radio to hear live coverage of tour events while on the course. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
