BMW of North America said it is partnering with Sirius Satellite Radio to promote it new 3 Series vehicles. On March 26, BMW will launch a 44-day cross-country tour, named “3 Across America,” to celebrate the launch of the new 3 Series. The tour will culminate May 6 with an 18-hour marathon broadcast that will be aired on a special Sirius BMW Channel. The program will consist of a continuous “travelogue” of the coast-to-coast tour, including local attractions and adventures experienced on the drive, road stories, live interviews and vignettes. A concert will conclude the tour. Leading up to the marathon broadcast, Sirius will broadcast minute-long updates on various talk and entertainment channels.
