Hughes Network Systems Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hughes Network Systems Inc., said it teamed up with Net2Phone Inc. to offer integrated voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service to Direcway broadband satellite customers throughout Europe and the Middle East. The integrated Net2Phone VoIP capability is enabled through HNS’ DW6040 voice appliance terminal. The jointly developed VoIP capability allocated priority order to voice packets over data traffic, improving the quality of voice service offered.
