EchoStar Communications Corp. said its Dish Network direct-to-home satellite television service now offers the Pentagon Channel to its subscribers at no additional cost, though it did note that certain subscribers might require a second satellite dish to receive the channel.

The Pentagon Channel provides viewers with Defense Department news through top-of-the-hour updates, news magazine programs and news briefings from the Pentagon and around the world.
