CapRock Communications named James Davis as the company’s new chief financial officer. He will manage the company’s financial strategy as well as a growing portfolio of global assets.

“With our growth and international expansion, we require a strong and experienced financial team to maximize our opportunities and profitability,” CapRock CEO Peter Shaper said in a prepared statement. “Jim brings many years of experience in domestic and international, financial and energy industry functions and he will be a key member of our management team.”

Prior to joining CapRock, Davis spent 11 years as the CFO of Parker Drilling Co.
