The Securities and Exchange Commission asked The DirecTV Group Inc. to provide more information on the accounting details surrounding agreements on Pegasus Communications Corp., the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative and Thomson SA from the second quarter of last year, the Washington Post reported Jan. 23. The results of the inquiry could lead DirecTV to alter how it accounts for the transaction, the report said.
