Advantech AMT, a manufacturer of satellite and terrestrial wireless communication equipment with corporate headquarters in Montreal, Canada, today announced the completion of its acquisition of SpaceBridge Semiconductor Corporation, a supplier of wireless broadband terminal technology.

Advantech AMT will immediately develop sales of existing SpaceBridge products as part of its own portfolio, and will build on the synergies between its existing intellectual property and that of SpaceBridge to deliver a number of new solutions for broadband wireless applications. Further announcements on new products will be made shortly. Financial terms were not disclosed.
