Irdeto Access said ABS-CBN Broadcasting is migrating all its satellite direct-to-home customers in Europe and in the Middle East to the Irdeto PIsys for Digital TV content security. According to Irdeto, the company was selected by ABS-CBN due to piracy concerns.

“We found Irdeto PIsys to be the most secure, scaleable and user friendly content security system of all those available on the market,” ASB-CBN Vice President and Managing Director Rafael Lopez said in a prepared statement.
