Globecomm Systems Inc. announced it has been awarded multiple contracts valued at approximately $4.2 million from two U.S. government prime contractors.

Under the terms of the contracts, Globecomm will provide a turnkey network solution for an unnamed government agency, which includes $1.6 million in satellite hardware infrastructure and a related 13-month, $2.6 million satellite services contract. Globecomm said it will design, install and maintain the satellite infrastructure requirements and once the network is complete, the company will provide network and bandwidth management services.
