Yonhap News reported today that South Korea has granted a license to provide mobile satellite television services to TU Media, a venture company partially owned by mobile phone operator SK Telecom Co. The company, according to the report, is looking to launch television service for mobile phones with broadcasts coming from mobile satellites. Specific details on the service were not immediately available.
