China Completes Work On Small Satellite Engineering Center

China has completed the construction of an engineering facility dedicated to the development of small satellites, according to news item on http://www.chinaview.ca that appeared today. The report quotes an unnamed official saying the facility has a designed production capacity of six to eight small satellites. Dongfanghong Satellite Co. owns the more than 16,000 square foot facility, which is located on the outskirts of Beijing.
