XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio have inked separate deals that will bring each company’s satellite radio receivers into Toyota-manufactured automobiles.

XM said that Toyota has selected it as a supplier for satellite delivered data services for Toyota, Lexus and Scion brand vehicles. Toyota also will offer XM receivers as a factory installed option for 2006 model year Toyota and Lexus vehicles and as a dealer installed option in 2005. Sirius said that Toyota will offer its receivers in both a post production and a dealer installed option in nine models covering the Toyota, Lexus and Scion brands beginning in February 2005.
