Arianespace has postponed the scheduled Dec. 10 launch of the Helios IIA French military reconnaissance satellite and six small satellites aboard an Ariane 5 launcher. The postponement occurred after an anomaly appeared during ground tests with equipment similar to that used in the upcoming mission. Arianespace is replacing the equipment, which is expected to take several days. The launcher has not, as of our deadline, announced a new launch date for the mission.
