Paradigm Secure Communications signed a 15-year contract valued at about $186 million to provide a specific portion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization‘s (NATO) space segment requirements. Beginning in 2005, Paradigm will be providing the U.K. share of the military satellite space segment communications capability to NATO and its member states for use when on NATO operations. Paradigm initially will use the existing Skynet 4 constellation, and it will migrate to the new Skynet 5 satellites in 2007.
