Intelsat Government Solutions Corp. changed its name to Intelsat General Corp. following the completion of the integration of the assets of the recently acquired Comsat General business. Intelsat said the name change “is intended to reflect the complimentary nature and competencies of the two businesses as well as their dual heritage of success and worldwide brand recognition in the satellite communications industry.”
