EchoStar Communications Corp. [DISH] late Friday said that, effective Oct. 1, its EchoStar DBS Corp. subsidiary completed the early redemption of all outstanding 10- 3/8 percent senior notes due 2007. The company paid about $1 billion to redeem the principal amount.
