China launched its 20th recoverable satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center aboard a Long March 2-D rocket. The satellite will be used for research, geological surveying and mapping, and the bird is expected to return to Earth in a few days. The country’s 19th recoverable satellite mission, which launched last month, ended this past weekend.
