Gilat Revenues Up, Net Loss Shrinks In 2Q

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. [GILTF] today reported second quarter earnings of $57.5 million, an increase of $5.4 million earned during the second quarter of 2003. The company also reported its net loss shrunk to $1.8 million from a net loss of $36.2 million reported during the same period one year ago. Gilat attributed the improved financial data to a 18-month campaign to improve the efficiency of its operations.
