Telesat Canada said the Anik F2 satellite launch from Arianespace’s Kourou, French Guiana, launch site has been rescheduled for 8:43 p.m. EDT July 15. The satellite was supposed to have been launched on July 12, but the launch was postponed after “an anomaly occurred during a data checkpoint with the [Ariane 5] launcher,” Arianespace said in an update on its Web site.
