International Launch Services (ILS) signed a contract with The DirecTV Group [DTV] for the launch of the DirecTV 8 satellite next spring. The satellite will be delivered to orbit via a Proton M/Breeze M launch vehicle, and it will be the third DirecTV satellite launched by ILS. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
