CSI Wireless Launches GPS-Enabled Auto Steering System

By Staff Writer | July 2, 2004

Officials from CSI Wireless Inc. said the company has launched GPSteer, an automatic steering system for tractors and other self-propelled agricultural equipment. GPSteer automatically steers agricultural vehicles along consistently straight or curved rows. Drivers need to use the steering only when turning at the end of each row. GPSteer functions with a variety of CSI/Satloc-branded GPS receivers, as well as competing GPS receivers. Officials said GPSteer is “competitively priced below rival auto-steering systems” but did not disclose the price of the system.
