NSAB Strengthens Baltic Position

By Staff Writer | July 1, 2004

Nordic Satellite AB (NSAB) has strengthened its position in the Lithuanian market by entering into a co-operation agreement with TV1. TV1 is a popular Lithuanian channel, and the deal represents the third time in recent months that NSAB has signed a pact with a Baltic company. NSAB is jointly owned by the Swedish Space Corporation and SES Global.

“Of all the available forms of distribution including fibre-optic cable, satellite is the simplest, most cost-effective solution for distribution of TV broadcasts that cover the whole of Lithuania,” says Boris Moskaliouk, a sales representative with NSAB.
