Space Systems/Loral (SSL) named Robert Prevaux vice president of business development, and he will assume marketing and sales responsibilities for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and other civil agencies.

Prevaux has 27 years of experience in the space and telecommunications industries. Prior to this promotion, he was executive director of SSL’s satellite radio programming, responsible for complete program management of mobile broadcasting satellites, including MBSAT and the Sirius Satellite Radio [SIRI] constellation. Prior to joining SSL, he was president of CTS Inc., an aerospace-services company.
