Frost & Sullivan as recognized earth Imagery Company DigitalGlobe for its outstanding work toward the next-generation commercial remote sensing satellites by presenting them the 2004 Aerospace and Defense Product of the Year Award. The decision to give the award to DigitalGlobe was based on the company’s decision to launch the Quickbird satellite in 2001. The satellite gets the greatest onboard storage capacity of any satellite imagery provider, Frost & Sullivan said.
