Officials from Comtech EF Data Corp., a subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. [CMTL] today said the company has received a $1.3 million order from a major telecom service provider in South America for various products, including satellite modems, frequency converters and transceivers. The equipment will be used in the customer’s network infrastructure expansion and also to support GSM applications.
