Wherify Wireless, a Redwood Shores, Calif.-based developer of wireless location products, has introduced what the company says is the world’s smallest GPS-enabled cell phone. The new phone will feature a two-way mic/speaker and a one-touch button direct dial to 911emergency services. In case of emergency, the cell phone provides emergency responders with the location of the caller using the GPS system. The phone will be in stores at the end of 2004 and will retail for less than $150.
