Telenor Satellite Services [Nasdaq: TELN] has introduced Satellite Direct Plus, an innovation in fixed-to-mobile calling via satellite. The new service allows users to place satellite calls from any location in the world to most Inmarsat terminals using a pre-assigned number. The service also determines the call type and routes the call to a telephone, fax, or personal computer.
