Karrier Communications, a Cameron Calif.-based sports software company, has begun shipping its new IntelliGolf version 7.0 golf software for PalmOne [Nasdaq: PLMO] handheld devices and Microsoft [Nasdaq: MSFT] mobile pocket PCs. The new 7.0 version software supports use of GPS receivers and Bluetooth wireless devices. PDA users will be able to view distances from tee to green, as well as shot distances. The standard retail price of the 7.0 version is between $29.95 and $39.95.
