Vigil Locating Systems, a Montreal-based supplier of GPS-based vehicle location systems, has closed a non-brokered private placement. This tranche of the private placement closed 1,250,000 units at a price of C$0.40 (US$0.30) per unit raising gross proceeds of C$500,000 (US$382,713). Each unit consists of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. The securities issuable in the private placement, including any common shares issued on the exercise of the warrants, have a hold period of four months.
